Discover Langya Pavilion: 360° Views & History in Anhui, China

Exploring Langya Pavilion is more than just a tour of the building, it’s a conversation through 1,700 years of history from the Western Jin Dynasty to the present day.There is a famous building called Langya Pavilion in Chuzhou, Anhui Province, China. It is at the South Heavenly Gate of Langya Mountain Scenic Area, and is the most iconic building in the whole scenic area. This pavilion was called Huifeng Pavilion at first, and some people called it Huifeng Pavilion until 2015, when it was officially named Langya Pavilion. The Luangya Pavilion is a total of 24 meters high and has seven floors, two underground and five above ground. Interestingly, from different directions, it has different layers and looks. From the east it is three stories, from the south it is four, and from the west it is five. Each floor is six-sided and octagonal, in the style of classical Chinese architecture with flying eaves and warped corners. The roof of the pavilion is covered with yellow glazed tiles, and the beams and pillars are beautifully carved and painted, exuding a simple and ancient flavor. The 24 wings of the pavilion are hung with copper bells, the mountain wind blows, copper bells tinkling ring, the sound seems to tell the Langya Mountain ancient story.
